CoVid-19 Pandemic Impacts (Updated March 23, 2020):


As a result of the current CoViD-19 pandemic situation, all local court systems have issued temporary court procedures, including the continuation of all non-emergency civil litigation matters.  We are monitoring each case as new dates are issued.  We will communicate case-specific information to each of our clients as we have it available. 

We have summarized the general postponement information below as provided from each court.  Please note this is a rapidly changing situation and is subject to further change as the dates approach.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at (630) 517-0808 with any questions.


  • Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois – postponed to a date after April 15, 2020

  • 18th Judicial Circuit, DuPage County, Illinois – postponed to a date after April 17, 2020; some motions may be decided without appearance and argument

  • 12th Judicial Circuit Court, Will County, Illinois - postponed to a date after April 30, 2020

  • 16th Judicial Circuit Court, Kane County, Illinois – postponed to a date after April 17, 2020


  • U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois – postponed to a date after April 3, 2020

  • U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Illinois – currently no postponements
